I love to fish and I always wanted to stay in the Cabins at Santee State Park so we found a weekend open the last weekend in March and planed our wedding for that weekend. We got married Friday March 28 and it was a beautiful warm day and we made it to Santee around 5pm we were so tired we did not fish for to long and we found out from all the recent rain that the fish were not biting much so we called it a early night. Sat, Sun, Mon turned into the most cold windy rainy time of the whole winter season almost LOL so we did not get to fish the lake was white capping!
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
Can you see the White Caps This picture was taken out the window of our cabin I don't know if you can see the white caps. It was not a weekend to fish but it was still a wonderful honeymoon 04/27/08 05:29 AM
