New to the Area!

Hello,
I have moved here to Bluffton, S.C. from Michigan which is a huge change in fishing styles for me. I am used to jiggin' through the ice or neaking up on a brook trout in a nice quiet stream. Is there anyone in my area that has any good pointers to start out fishing here? I heard squid is used for bait here, is that what works? I am more interested in freshwater or at least inland lakes/ponds. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Im also new to SC. Ive been searching for a place to try on my new allen company dillon hip wader boots. My old waders deteriorated after years usage. Any suggestion will be very much appreciated.
